Terms of use
PortPoint · Last updated 26 August 2026
1. The service
PortPoint is a digital platform where guest harbours, campsites and car parks ("sites") charge for guest berths, advance bookings and extras, and where you as a guest pay, book and show your receipt. The platform is provided by PortPoint.
Which products are offered and what they cost is decided by each site and is always shown in the app before you pay – the price you see at purchase is the one that applies.
2. Payments go straight to the site
When you pay in PortPoint, the money goes straight from you to the site you are visiting, via the site's own payment account (for example its Swish business number). PortPoint never receives, holds or forwards your money and never stores card or bank details – we deliver the technical service. Your purchase agreement is therefore made with the site, which is also responsible for the service you have paid for (the berth, the electricity and so on).
If a payment does not go through – for example due to poor coverage or connection – no purchase is made and no berth is held. Use one of the site's other payment methods instead.
3. Cancellation and refunds
Questions about refunds are handled and decided by the site, since it is the site that received the payment. An approved refund goes back the same way the payment was made, to the same number or account. Advance bookings with cancellation cover can be cancelled and refunded as stated at the time of booking; advance bookings without cancellation cover are not refunded.
4. Your account
You can use PortPoint with a registered account or as a temporary guest. You are responsible for the details you provide being correct and for nobody unauthorised using your login. Guest accounts without activity are deleted automatically after 30 days.
You can delete your account at any time under Profile. Receipts are then kept anonymised in the sites' accounts, in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act.
5. Messages
PortPoint only sends messages that belong to your use – receipts, booking and payment confirmations and the like. The site you visit may contact you via the details you have provided regarding your stay, for example operational information. No advertising and no newsletters are sent.
6. What you may not do
You may not use the platform to avoid payment, disrupt operations, attempt to access other people's data or knowingly provide false details about boat, vehicle or identity. On site, the site's own rules of conduct also apply.
7. Term and termination
The terms apply from when you start using the platform and for as long as you have an account. You end them at any time by deleting the account. PortPoint may suspend accounts that breach the terms, and may discontinue or materially change the service with reasonable notice – purchases already paid for are not affected by such a change.
8. Liability
The platform is provided as is. PortPoint is not responsible for the sites' services, prices or availability, nor for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer law.
9. Changes
We may update the terms; material changes are announced in the app. Continued use after a change means that you accept it. The latest version is always available on this page.
10. Contact
Questions about the terms or the platform: contact portpoint.se@gmail.com. Questions about a specific purchase: contact the site named on your receipt.
